FAQ
How many treatments will I need?
Many small veins will collapse with one treatment but many people require 2 to 4 treatments for medium-sized veins. Treatments should be spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart.
Does it hurt?
The sensation is tolerable and ranges from warm tingling to the feeling of snapping a rubber band against the skin. A cold gel is applied to the treatment area immediately after the treatment to minimize any discomfort.
Is it safe?
Yes, the treatment is safe with little to no downtime. Exercise, saunas and hot tubs should be avoided for 24 hours after treatment.
When will I see results?
Some veins will disappear or blur immediately, but some larger veins will need repeat treatment.
Scar Removal
How it works
Fractional laser light creates micro-columns of coagulated tissue that extend deep into the dermis without ablating the epidermis. This triggers a wound-healing process that replaces the compacted scar tissue with healthy new tissue, greatly diminishing the appearance of the scar tissue. Advanced Contact Cooling protects the epidermis, promoting safer, more comfortable treatments.
The results
While fractional laser light doesn't make a scar fully disappear, it can greatly diminish the appearance. The number of treatments needed will depend on the size of a scar or the number of scars. Laser skin treatments for scars are long-lasting, although results may not be permanent. You may need additional treatments in the future.
